    Stevens 311/Fox b series H Forend Iron

    Thanks again to Denver Duck... I am about to try my hand at assembly.. Wish me Luck
    and, if there is some secret, especially maybe help explain how in the Wide World of Sports the original got Broken!!!

    If, as I suspect, the FE iron is a casting, it's not much of a surprise that it could crack - but, being cradled id the wood of the FE, it's must have taken a heavy blow to do so.

    Since guns generally don't speak, how it happened may be impossible to know.

    Most certainly mis-handled..
    Real Trick, gettin that "safety-pin" type spring in there!!!
    Near as I can ascertain... That is a Snap on forend. And a tight SOB
    Haven't broke that casting yet... but, I can see this is a very good place for a Better quality piece!!!!

    Saving any kind of side by side .410 is worth all the effort you can muster.
