I use an Accurate Molds 147Y bullet, powder coated over 4.0gr of Unique in my 4.5" AR-9 pistol with suppressor.

The PC is being set up for home/property defense as a short barreled rifle. So it’s for 20 to 40 yard home/property defense that my wife can hit with. It’s for that and to let the grandkids have some fun.

Thanks for the clarification about the blowback. It sounded like a big deal when I started doing my homework. Thanks, Bill.
If you don’t PC, I’d stick with heavy plated or Js. It’s cumbersome to clean lead out of baffles.
Blowback comes with shooting suppressed especially with PCC unless using cans like OSS designed to push gases forward.
I shoot 9 & 45 suppressed AR pistols with PC boolits & all I hear is the action & hitting steel.
Both are less than 6” so blowback gases are inevitable.
