    battenfield / caldwell Velociradar ???

    anyone know what happened to this unit in production?
    it was to be out by now. UPDATE: i sent an email to them about 6 wks ago regarding this dopler radar chronograph...they just sent me this email if anyone cares to read.

    "Sorry for the extreme delay in response. This is not the service we strive for but are working diligently to get caught up.
    In regards to the "Velociradar", we have no updates on that product. We currently do not have a plan to release it within this fiscal year.
    Again we are sorry for any inconvenience our delay may have caused."

    My guess is they can't get the chips (made in China) necessary for production. Seems to be an endemic problem.

    Some of that Midway-branded stuff is pretty low-end equipment; may work okay, may not. Sometimes it might be wise to spend a little more on better equipment. However, I've had good results with their vibratory brass cleaners.
