    Winchester 41's. new primers?

    I thought I would put this here since there is no section about primers.
    has anyone tried these? are they the same as cci 41's
    anyway I just noticed that Grafs has ""new" winchester 41 magnum small rifle primers in stock. $439 a case. I guess thats about as cheap any anyone is selling primers these days

    That is Winchesters NATO Spec primer. It should be very similar to the CCI #41. I did not see the Winchester version until Winchester took over the contract for Lake City.

    I agree. Winchester is probably using the "41" nomenclature due to familiarity with CCI 41 primers. Unless CCI is actually real deal NATO primers.

    I believe Powder VAlley had the Winchester "41" primer in stock right now for something like $99.00 a thousand. Alsi the argentine sp primer for $79.00 thousand. I got a notice late last night. james

    I would personally bet they could be the same primers as the CCI #41’s due to Winchester now having the Lake City contract and federal who owns CCI no longer having it, I would bet they both were from the lake city plant and or made for lake city and this would be made to the same specifications..

    The Winchester OEM small rifle NATO spec primer is not new. I bought some probably about 10 years. Still have about 1,500 of them.

    Winchester large rifle standards selling for as much as $80.00 a hundred here. be happy at $100.00 a thousand...
