Does the barrel have the "swell" where to rear sight is?

If that barrel will work with a receiver/action from the 90's I will take it.

    2 3/4" or 3" shotgun barrels?

Which barrel? The shotgun barrels will fit a Remington 870 made in the 90's and the Savage barrel will fit any small shank savage action long enough for a 30-06.

The slug barrel will take either 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells, the cylinder bored barrel will only take 2 3/4 inch shells.

I should have been more specific. yes I was looking at the savage barrel. I've got a savage from a 90's vintage that has a chamber issue.
