    Thrifti Type

    Hello All,
I bought 200 pounds of this type today off a craigslist ad today. The only information I've found it was used to make checks back in the day. Does anyone have any other information? Thanks. Boats

Many years of doing letterpress work and I never saw that. Looking it up and I see it was an interesting, and troubled, concept and companies.

I haven't tried melting any. It cut pretty easy so I doubt there pure zinc but I can't say there isn't a trace amount in it.
