Obviously the important thing is if the firearm shoots accurately enough to meet your expectations. A borescope is simply a tool that allows the user to see the inside of a barrel under magnification. Looking won't change the accuracy at all. Eventually, if your cleaning methods aren't adequate THAT WILL effect the accuracy. Either due to accumulated deposits, damage to the bore or both. It may be true that a barrel will only shoot accurately when it's fouled. It's also true that leaving that fouling in there will cause corrosion damage underneath that fouling. So pick your poison. Leave it fouled and inevitably damage it more over time or remove it all after each shooting session and know that it's going to require several shots to return it to consistent shooting.
