    Yup! ........It's getting grim!

That works out to be 15 cents worth of shot going downrange every time I pull the trigger! Hell, .......I don't hit often enough to feel good about THAT!

I'm curious: .......With all the interest in shot-makers on the "Casting for Shotguns" forum, ....are any of our members who are running shot-makers interested in selling the fruits of their labors???

Its a shame when you can get it shipped half way across the country for about half price.

I asked last week while at Williams gun sight store here in the thumb area. I thought she told me it was $34 and may fall more. It was $49 anout 4 mo. ago. It can drop even more to suit me! Robert

Just make sure their full size 25 pound bags. I have seen cheap prices also and they were for 10 and 15 pound bags and they didnt list the bag weight in the sale flyer. If that price is for a 25 pound bag, Im stocking up again on large sizes because I make my small shot but cant get the larger sizes to drop good and round yet.

    Shot price

Just got in on a group buy with some shooting buddies. Ended up costing us $21.50 per bag after delivery. We ordered 1 ton. Other than that I've ordered from Recob's.

I started shot making years ago. I got a used machine back when shot first started to go up. I did it for the fun!!! That Katrina did me in and I had to start all over again. Does anyone have loading data for the old "active" shotshells?? I have bags of hulls that made it out of the storm just fine but all my old loading books are now landfill.

If you can find the shotshell loading manual by Kenneth W Cougar, it has loading data for the 2 3/4" Activ hull.

    Gents,
I paid $25 a bag 3 weeks ago, and the rumour in this neck of the woods, SE PA, is it'll be down to $20 in a coupla' months.
    Cheers,
