    Layered Roast

A little different way to do roasts.
Slice it up into "steaks". Flour and brown every side. Stack 'em back like they were with spices of choice between each layer. Make a roux in the fry pan that was used to brown the steaks, spice to suit, pour it over the meat and veggies. Bake it like it oughta be.

What cut of roast. Will bottom or rump roast work?

Add some chopped garlic and parsley between the layers. My mom made something similar. To die for.
