Another lead score! My cup runneth over

So, after the Lyman #2 score I was in a place and saw some divers weights. Never know what is in those old things but at $10 for about 100lbs i'll take a flyer on those old round and square things they wanted to get rid of. Got them home, melted them down and dosed with shavings. Nice shiny ingots and when i put one on the Lee Tester it was flat out lead.

    Merry Christmas to me!

You were in the right place at the right time!!

Mix them 50/50 with clip on wheel weights or soften that Lyman #2 up and have fun casting.

You'll shoot your eye out kid.

You could sell them here for about .20 cents a pound giving any buyer a fantastic deal AND you would double your money. I would say that is a win-win!

Just melted 15# of divers weights, turned out good alloy. Vice smash test against a mild rifle alloy, indention the same on both.
    Whatever!

I found a driver's belt at a flea market and payed 10.00 bucks.Had to take it back to truck right away since my shoulder was sagging. With your luck you will probably find a old printers shop next and score some linotype

Lucky you! All the diver's weights I have ever gotten were horrible lead so I decided to avoid them even though I see them at the recyclers all the time.
