    376 Steyr users out there?

I recently picked up some 376 Steyr brass here and now I have to build a rifle to use it. Looking for thoughts on good lead hunting bullet designs for deer, elk, and black bear. I think something with a big flat nose should do but not sure on weight. Maybe a hollowpoint for deer? I've got a Mod 50 FN mauser in 30-06 that would make a good candidate or there are a few military mauser actions in the safe as well. Unless I fall into a deal on a commercial barrel, I plan to have one of my extra Kreiger 308 Palma barrels rebored and I'll trim it to a sporter profile at 20-22".

    Watching this with interest.
That cartridge made too much sense to be successful, I guess.
