Wow, Very nice ! When I was much younger I craved older SXS doubles. I had Ithaca’s, LC Smiths, Lefevers, a Fox, a Win., several fine small bore Belgium and English doubles but never found the Parker of my dreams.
I am glad you found this even at a later stage in your life as I can tell it “ Fits your Fistle “ .
Thanks for sharing this beauty ! I still hope to own one it just hasn’t found me yet and I am still looking !

It’s chance... but I’m always looking. And it’s unimaginable how many old guns are left in the attics.Wow, Very nice ! When I was much younger I craved older SXS doubles. But I didn't get areal answer! Would you change the barrel finish for a grey damas?!
I won’t do it myself, I’m not competent... fortunately I have an excellent master gunsmith!
Very good find.
As long as the current finish is a nice rust blue, as it looks, and is in good condition, I would leave the finish as it is.

Don’t know about anyone else but to an average firearm aficionado such as myself that is a work of art. Congratulations.
RST loads smokeless shells to BP pressures for safe use in the old guns. I use them in my light English game gun.

HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
