Came upon another mold in my collection ...
Lyman 4 cavity 311413 , excellent shape , never been used .
Compared it to the H+G 20 , "scraper groove" that I have and they seem to be almost ..the same boolit.
Only difference I can see at this point is the lower band on the 413 is not as wide as the 20 , giving it a longer gas check shank.
curious if their physics will be the same in use .

In days gone by bullet designers though a scraper groove for crud to accumulate was a good idea. It was not, it is useless.
