Unique Hammer conversion for S&W revolvers

I'm not connected to this vendor but did order a K/L frame hammer kit from them. The inventor, Warren Moore of Protocall Design comes up with a lot of great handgun competition shooting aides.

Interesting...but at the moment thumb cocking for a single action shot is not an option. I see where they may introduce one with a hammer spur in the future.

wonder if that would make a good conversion for any of the hammerless models - if the parts cross reference that is.

I would be concerned with light primer strikes , have had issues with this getting used revolvers that have had after market springs installed and while the work decent with some primers like federal major problems with other brands and in this market we get what is available

I plan on attending the Bianchi Cup in May and may use it then, from what I read on other forums...the folks love it. Single action and J frames are just a thought right now. BTW I rarely fire my revolvers single action.

That is addressed...lighter, faster hammer, spring selection and longer firing pin. The guys that have them..love them.

The hammer drop force (lbs) remains the same, it's just isn't felt once the travel crossover (transition) point is met. Hard to explain.
