Cast in 300blk, where to find load data?

I want to get started loading cast in my new 300blk, trouble is apparently all of my cast load books are too old to list 300blk. Are there cast loads published or is everyone just using jacketed data and going on from there? I'm thinking of getting a 110-120 gr mold as I already cast 165 and 200 gr.

Are you shooting an AR-15 or a bolt gun?

I got rid of my 300 Blackout upper after I bought my Ruger American Ranch in 300 Blackout. Much more versatile, when you don't have to load them to cycle the action.

I have shot everything from 85gr cast handgun bullets to the NOE 247gr bullet from my rifle. Most of the load data I found on this site. Most of it subsonic fun loads, using Bullseye powder.

I guess the weight of the bullet mold has more to do with what you intend or want to do with it? Are you looking at a light bullet to save on lead, or some other reason?

FYI; I found that 3031 works better in a bolt gun than H335. Your mileage may very.

I'll be using an AR with 16" barrel. I was thinking lighter boolit for less lead and going sonic for a little longer range punching paper. And I would like to find loads that use rifle powder as I don't have much pistol powder and would like to keep what I have for pistol use.

I just went back to my reloading database and all the loads I had used back in 2012 with my AR upper in 300 Blackout were with jacket bullets. And in the notes, I had a few "failed to cycle" entries.

I was trying AA 1680, Lil Gun and H110 back then. Sorry I don't have any useful personal cast bullet experience with the AR in that caliber.

If you type this into a google search-( 300 Blackout site:http://castboolits.gunloads.com ) it will pull over 30 hits on just this forum with loads in 300 Blackout.

    300blktalk.com. handload section.
Been playing with 145 gc PC PB and red dot, works pretty good for plinking. Grouped under one inch @ 50 and same POI as my H110 super loads. CVA SS.
    Whatever!
