    WTB 22 Savage Hi-Power brass/bullets/mold

The family Savage 99 in 22 Hi-Power has finally arrived in my safe, the gun I shot my first deer with. I'm looking to buy brass for it if anybody has any. I'd like to stick to the actual headstamp before I start reforming 25-35 or 30-30.

I'd also be interested in a mold. I have plenty of the 70gr Hornady j-words.

Look for Sellier&Bellot 5.6x52R. That’s the European designation for the .22 Savage High Power.

In the past I’ve bought it from J&G, and Midway USA.

PM's responded to. My dad located his stash of about 1000 70gr spire points and his dies, so I'm mainly looking for brass and a mold.

NOE has a good selection of molds but there are sold out currently. I think NORMA and S&B still load this and maybe Privi.

I have a 22 HP as well and have a set of forming dies to make cases from 30-30, but the S&B route might still be the best option.
I might have a spare .228 sizing die for Lyman type lube/sizers.

I've got an NOE 228407, 68 gr FN mold. 1GC 1PB. Designations have changed since purchase. Casts at .229-.2295 in whatever alloy I last used. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass on the swaging dies. That's a road I'm not ready to go down yet.
