I load pistol cals. only. I use the RCBS check weights to set the scale every time I use it. I don't use the marking on the scale at all anymore.

Dang, 26grs is a huge difference! And a red hot load at that!!! Glad you still have all of your digits. Sounds like you owe the QC guy that check that gun a beer!!!

Like others have said, verify your loads using a mechanical scale like the 505..
