    mod. type 94 pistol.

I have a mod type 94 JAPANESE NAMBU pistol, and ammo is about as rare as hens teeth. does any one have six loaded rounds that they would send me so I can say that I have had the pleasure oh having shot it?

My friend George has several Nambu pistols and I looked for dies to load some for him, the cheapest set of dies I could find was over $300. He has still not shot his and I don't know if he ever will.

Appears to GONRA that yer best bet is (attempt) to backorder some
8mm Nambu ammo from STEINEL AMMO,
patiently wait whilst watching to see what else shows up as tyme goes on....

In the collecting business, PATIENCE is the key!
Took ~40 years before I got my first 5 rd. en bloc clip for my 14.5mm PTRS-41 AT rifle!
NEVER GIVE UP! !! Whilst seeking a second 10 rd. en bloc clip for my .276 Pedersen rifle,
5 beauties (with ammo) showed up. Ya'll Just Never No on this stuff!

While we're at it, anybody out there hava few 5 rd. en bloc clips for
the WW I 8mm Lebel French semiauto rifle? ???

Check CH4D.com I think they had this on their list, and doubt that they have sold many.

IIRC the sear is on the outside of the pistol.

    Toot,

CH Tools does offer dies, whether they're in stock or not is another story. Price isn't too bad for a 3-Die set. https://chtoolanddie.com/calibers/8NamPis

As for Brass, you can size down 357 Sig brass, but my understanding is they may have to have the case heads swaged down to a smaller diameter. If you can find it, there is some new manufactured brass out there. Unsure of it's availability....

Bullet selection may be a little more difficult, I'm not up to speed on 8mm options, I don't have a Nambu pistol....

If you cannot find ammo, this may give you an option for reloading for it. Besides, who wouldn't want to have a way to handload for their pistol...

If converting brass, check this video out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi5s6xHrojk

Call CH4D and ask! They will make the dies. They can tell you the expected wait time.
