They are both Marines, and built their own guns.

My back was out, so I spent the day by the fire, stirring the pots.

Just before I got there, a dog chased a buck in to the river and killed it. No one had a rifle ready, so the dog got away. We told the landlord, so he could have a talk with his renters.

We did see a couple hundred elk bedded along the road into the shoot site.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

I really enjoyed the video. One of the best I've seen posted in a long time. All those nice 16th Century and onwards assault rifles. Seriously, it looks like great fun. Nice rifles and a great bunch of companions.

We have a couple from Clearwater Junction come shoot occasionally. The gal is a veterinarian down there. You might try making contact, and starting a local group.

Great vid! I have spent many days woods walking and shooting my flinchlocks, no better therapy...
