    38/40 loads using 244

    Anyone have any loads for 38/40 pistol using Winchester 244 powder?

    I would try 5.4 up to 6.1 grains with a 180 grain boolit. If you have a chronograph, it can help you track the velocity so as to match it up with a known, good load that you already have.
