My current favorite 9mm boolit (again)

I recently got back into casting after a move and a house build.

I found this 9mm boolit mold made by Hardline Industries in my (several) buckets of molds. I now recall why I like this boolit so much. Has the same form as a 115gr fmj bullet and just drops from the mold like cold butter off a hot knife.

Too bad Hardline isn’t still around, I have 5-6 other molds of theirs; all run great but I really, really like this one.

What’s crazy is this Hardline mold is iron, but it weighs less than a brass mold from NOE or MP. Much easier on my wrist and elbow. I just ordered a new toaster oven and dug out my Hi-Tek coating so I can load these beauties up.

That's slick! That is one issue I have, that most companies don't offer true RN designs. If you ever want to sell it.........

The new toaster oven should arrive today, I will coat and cook some of those 9mm boolits with my Hi-Tek Gold 1035 juice and extreme 2 catalyst this evening. Of course will post up some pics.

Those would make excellent worm weights if there was a hole going through them!
