Ok that was easy! Got my package today and coated some using clear with a bit of black. Swirled, baked and done.Added .002 to my diameter so need to size and shoot!

Congrats and welcome to Smoke's Club

I 'learned' on Eastwood Ford Light Blue and then went to Smoke. His clear has been great for my long range rifle bullets. I use the colored stuff mainly for pistols.

I have some green I mix with some Harbor freight red to get an ugly blood colored bullet. I rub the plastic coffee mate container on my dog who I should have named static for a few seconds and then vigorously swirl the bullets around for 30-45 seconds. In my case I feel Harbor freight powder needs heavy dog static to get a good covering. That said I have not found splotchy bullets to cause fouling or accuracy problems as long as the bands are well covered.

Without a doubt, my best coverage color is Eastwood Hotcoat Powder Gray # 16248.

It seems to "flow" and cover any bare or thin spots. Perfect coverage every time.
