What is your idea of the estimated velocity of 325 grain RCBS slug pushed out of 22" barrel with 14 grains of PROMO?

FYI Promo is equivalent of Red Dot. More like the old Red Dot, good but dirty. GW
I asked Alliant about Promo vs. Red Dot for reloading. Got a reply from one of the smarter-sounding employees. He said the two are very similar in all respects, except that Promo has no red dots, and there's either no density spec for it, or its density specs are much more broad (can't remember his exact words).

Use Promo the same as Red Dot by weight only not volume.
