    Old Caster, New to PC

First time giving it a go. Two versions of the 358311, Smoke’s (2yr old) Carolina Blue (you can’t really tell in the lighting), cured at 410F in a PID controlled Reflow Oven for 30mins after initial reflow. Smash rest looks ok…

    How did I do??

    looks great

shoot them then cast, powder coat, (size), and shoot and repeat

another fun thing to do is mix the different colored powders as you replenish you tub. you get some neat colors and no matter what they all will come out of the barrel

Looks OKie to me. Now size to groove diameter using case lube. Shoot to prove the pudding.

Don't need any lube to size. Might degrade the PC, depending on the lube.
    Whatever!

Thanks, it didn’t seem that hard, but I wanted to start off with the right setup, which is what took a little time to get together. Namely building a new PID controller for the toaster oven. I’ve already sized the boolits I’ve cast up. Namely the 358311s, some 358402s for 9mm, as well as some MP-357-125 HPs. All seemed to take the PC very easily, though with a few bare spots from the shake ‘n bake method.

As for accuracy, they’ll have to do well to keep up with my old loads using Carnuba Red, but I’m guessing from what I’ve read they’ll do just fine.
