Please pray for my three year old grandson. He has significant verbal deficits and needs support from a Speech Language Pathologist. He has had a referral from a doctor for several months but they are unable to get him in because of no available appointments.

Please guide this child's parents down the path to get him the kind of help they need to overcome their son's speech difficulties. My prayers are for your grandson and his family! Our younger son had a bit of speech challenges and it turned out to be HEARING related. The school offered "their" speech therapist but we bit the proverbial bullet and engaged a specialist who took pity on us an offered a reduced rate. Not knowing your grandson's "verbal deficit" (none of my business!) -- again, I wish all the best, adding his HEARING not be excluded from the equation if it be at all possibly germane?

George, hearing is or should always be a rule out for childhood speech disorders. 4given I am praying that your children find the appropriate specialists that will help him clear up the disorder. God is the healer - but we are often His hands.

We wnt thru something similar with our Grandson who, due to covid seemed to have speech and learning issues. Our Daughter got him therapy quickly and now he seems to be back on track for his age......keep pushing for the speech and occupation al therapy...good luck and God bless
