Which bullet/weight did you fire that group with?
    Still the Hornady 259 XTP?

I got away from the XTP in 44mag because they were shedding the jacket and sending lead fragments into the meat, about the same velocity you are shooting.

You might be better served with a RF style boolit with a large meplat cast in 50/50+2%, or 20:1, with soft lube. This is a great hunting alloy that stays together well even if it hits bone.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? If you don't cast, there are numerous places that sell boolits, Montana Bullet Works is where I get LBT WFN (wide flat nose) boolits, I have gotten some of the LEE C452-300-RF from forum members. Lee also has a 250gr and 200gr RF (round flat).

Several of the commercial casters that sell boolits have a choice of alloy, ask for their softer alloy and soft lube.

These are the LBT designed WFN from Montana Bullet Works:
