I would love to have a lightweight, consistent 1/4" group rifle.
But I don't like the tactical look of current rifles- especially for $2500+.
I have a 1/4" capable FN Police .308 rifle and that 20lb. machine with McMillan stock and top end Leupold pretty much stays in its hard case(with wheels) under the bed.
My antelope guide friend has two of the Christiansen bolt rifles for the long yardage and they are nice hunting rifles- not stocked for bench use.
If you don't mind, give us pics and a range report when you can.

Well the promise and the guarantee from Springfield is 3/4 groups at 100 yards
After shooting this rifle for the entire summer so far I have to say a 3/4" group is kind of a let down
I have a 6.5 Creedmoor and I have been shooting groups that go less than 1/2" and these are with bullets
that are not usually (at least for me) that accurate like the solid cooper bullets but those also shoot fabulously
I plan on carrying this rifle during out whitetail hunt in two weeks its carry's well on the should or in the hand and shooting is stable without a solid rest shooting off hand should be no problem
the stock is kinda a cross between, like some of the McMillan stocks
