Track of the wolf .520 RB mold

TOW just got in 6 cavity round ball molds in .520 for the Santa Fe Hawkins rifles or others that take a smaller dia ball to fit properly.

I suggest anyone with a Thompon Center of any model try a .520" ball. Even if you are happy with your accuracy, try a .520" ball and thick patch. I have yet to find any other combo that will shoot this good in any TC. I have this .520" mold and it is a great mold. I would rather have paid for a 2 cavity, but this way I can knock out a years worth of balls in no time.

Any custom barrel I have ever had seems to like a .520.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Track also has the .526 rb mold. I've been using the .520 and the .526 both. My Renegade likes both
