Lyman 45-110 Load Data only BP? not smokeless?

RE: Lyman Classic Rifle Reloading Data book

Greetings; I'm unable to purchase/find this above booklet, to begin studying reloads for my friends 45-110 Shiloh Sharps [modern] rifle. If the above mentioned booklet ONLY deals with BP, then I shall stop looking & resume my search for the Unicorn called "45-110 smokeless food".

I've found scant mention of 5744 & 4198 powders, but looking for a bit more verbage on the topic.

    Thank y'all,
    Wally

It is smokeless loading's. Currently out of print. The majority of the loading's are already in Lyman 50th.

There's also some discussion of 45-110 here:

    https://castboolits.gunloads.com/sho...-110-load-data

I posed a question about using 45-90 data in a 45-110 and no one responded. My guess is that is a viable option, kind of like 44 special data in a 44 mag case. I've never heard of a gun being blown up by doing that.

If it has happened, I like to hear about the details.

After finding 2 Sharps shooters, talking to them convinces me to use my Trailboss for now. I'll start @ 80% max fill to boolit base, then work up from there to arrive at a good grouping "node".

Thanks pards for sounding off. If I think of it, I'll post a new thread with some target pics & load notes for yur general consumption.
