Lot of talk about pots here so I will mention my first pot

Sounds crazy but back in the early seventies Lysol spray cans had a heavy metal seamless gold cap. I bent a lip out and put a v in the side of it. The part I can't remember is if I was casting off an electric burner or a gas stove. I used one and two holer molds and filled them by grabbing the lip with a pair of side cutters and pouring right into the mold. I cast thousands of bullets this way, mostly with tire weights. I got to where every cast once things warmed up was good. Many .30, .45 and .357 bullets.

I used to use an old vegetable can on the kitchen stove until I had a steam explosion and the wife kicked me out of the kitchen. Plus side, I got my first electric pot at that time.
