    Mystery 44

The picture of the attached 44 is elusive. I have worked at Saeco, Lyman, and RCBS. No luck so far. Definitely an older boolit from the 80s if not much older. I received a decent stockpile of these from an estate but the mold did not come with them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It looks like one of the old SAECO designs - I realize you already ruled them out, but I was a big SAECO fan in the 1970's and recall some similar profiles. Is it heavier than 270 grs?

What is the weight and diameter ... looks familiar , trying to jog the old memory banks ...
I keep thinking LBT - Long Flat Nose ... but LBT's catalog isn't very clear with a clear photo or details (I'm hard of seeing to boot ) ... I might be wrong.

I have a LBT 250-434 long flat nose. At least mine doesn't look anything like the pic in the op.

    Lightbulb H&g #140

Sure looks a lot like the H&G #140 to me. Link to Catalogue below.

    Hope this helps,
    Jeff

    P.S.
Check out Accurate molds for this boolit in their Catalogue. If it's not there contact Tom and send him a boolit, He'll make you a mould.

Does anyone know what happened to Jared at Arsenal mold? He doesn’t reply to emails and phone calls anymore. He’s done some great work for me in the past
