    Hi Point 995 TS 9mm

Any experience, thoughts, etc on this rifle? They're pretty inexpensive.

Several threads on these. I have one and like it. It feeds any boolit profile I throw at it.

My only regret is that I bought one before they offered threaded barrels.

    Mine shoots fine.

I have the 9mm carbine, the .40sw and the .45acp. Of them my favorite is by far the .45acp. Much more accurate at longer distances. ie beyond 25 yards.

That being said any of the Hipoint carbines is an excellent home defense weapon IMO. I have Red Dots on all 3 of mine.

The only problem I have had was a 9mm mag that got dropped and bent the feed lips. Caused a few failures to feed until I figured it out.

5 minutes with a new mag (To get the angles right) and a pair of needle nose pliers put it right.

They feed everything and function flawlessly.

And I strongly recommend buying a couple of the Red Ball 20 round magazines for it.

I would not be afraid to hunt with the .45acp. As it easily keeps rounds in a 2" circle at 100 yards. Would be a good thick woods rifle.
I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

    Get right with the Lord.
    Get back to the land.
Get back to thinking like our forefathers thought.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
and give you His peace. Let all of the earth – all of His creation – worship and praise His name! Make His
    praise glorious!

I got one as a reaction to the 22 LR shortage during the Obama years. I was easily able to load 9mm cheaper than the cost of 22 LR assuming that some was to be found. Then I traded it off for something else. But down the road another one became available used and I got it. That one developed a separation in the bolt halves and when I inquired about getting a new one I was told that all I had to do was send it in for a rebuild, no charge. I had to pay postage one way and they supplied a new magazine to offset that. I was happy, happy, happy! I have a sudden urge to go shoot it.. As it happens , My son loves to burn rounds through it, but so far has shown little interest in loading more. I have to work on that I guess.

when these first came out I bought the 45acp and a buddy got the 9mm. they shoot great... eat ANY kind and nose profile ammo out there.. don't jam... are bulky and ugly... and have ugly huge magazine floor plates that could be used as door stops... but they always go bang
