Dick,, is one of those pictures showing the sling actually Doc? The one with the Super Blackhawk?

And asking the CEO option is ok,, but it's a business. And if a Distributor like Lipsey's wants something,, they work it out with Ruger to where they guarantee the purchase of all of a "Distributor Exclusive" and Ruger makes the gun. The CEO might be able to nudge it a bit,, but Lipsey's can push it harder. It's their money being invested.

Tyrone, yes the photo is actually Doc Barranti with the long barreled gun where he is demonstrating his nifty sling setup.

Two targets shot about 2 years ago with a 180 gr HP, one at 50 yds, the other at 100 yds scoped. This bullet shoots about the same as the Bradshaw/Martin bullet accuracy wise.

Fantastic! That must be about 2" at 100 yards, with a revolver!? That's hard enough to do with a TC Encore. Great shooting.

I have two questions for you..

in post #33 last picture, is that a rest from Bog Pod ? I haven't been able to find the flat plate on their web site. does it have a part # ?

what is the length of the Maximum cylinder + case head ? I hope to pick up a Ruger Maximum this year, and been thinking of moulds that I already have.

thanks for your help, may God continue to Bless all ya'll.

Hello Greg, the Bog Pod pistol rest is no longer available & if you find one for sale jump on it because they are very rare. I will have to get back to you on the cylinder length plus case head. The 357 Maximum's are also hard to find as you probably know but they do pop up for a day or so on some of the forums from time to time.
The best way to find one is to ask, just put out a feeler for a 357 Maximum & see if someone will sell one to you. Good luck!

The cylinder on my Ruger 357 Maximum with a case is 1.987"
The cylinder on my Seville 357 Maximum with a case is 2.177"
    I don't have a Dan Wesson 357, but I do have a 375 SuperMag.
The cylinder with a case is 2.133"

    I hope this helps.

Looks like a Ruger Super Black Hawk with square trigger guard was use to shoot that deer. How are the pachmyar grips on the revolver? do the grips interfere with the rolling of the gun during recoil?

Not many DW 375s out there either.. That was the 1st SM we bought and no regrets.

Not a square back. The grips cushion the recoil and fill your hand better than stock grips and reduce the roll up
