    Computer Question (Concerning Swaging)

I have a bunch of the Corbin software. However, it is on 5.25 floppy, and I do not have a machine to read it. Is there any way to put this on CD, or even 3.5 floppy?

There is if you can find someone with the requisite equipment or if the software manufacturer will send it to you on new media ( I would bet this is a no go). I would try to find the oldest computer geek that you can find and see if they can dig in their museum of operational obsolescence and see if they can help you.

Depending on how the software runs/installs, x-ferring to a CD or USB Flash drive may work, but you can always fall-back on transferring it to 3.5" floppies.

Find an old 5.25 floppy,(or someone who has one) hook it up (as drive B:, where 3.5 is drive A, and use DiskCopy B: A: to make copy to 3.5's. It'll work.

    Ballard,

My BIL has an old computer that might have a 5 1/4" drive. I will check...

    I have a 5-1/4 drive

I have an old IBM PS/2 with both 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 drives - if it's just a matter of copying files over to a different media, I can do that. Once on 3 1/2, I can burn a CD or DVD. Let me know if I can help.
