While not necessarily lever gun specific, I think that the lever gun guys will be most likely to benefit from knowing this.

I have an old AAC TiRant 9m that I used for 38 special on my 1894CST. I recently learned that the new AAC offers a service by which they'll upgrade the old can to the new 9M HD specs, and they'll warrantee the work.

I sent mine in, so it is now not only rated for full power 357 through the rifle, but it's also rated now for 300 super and 350 Legend. That alone would have made it worth it to me, but they also replaced all of the aluminum baffles with stainless. I've been shooting a mix of traditional lube, powder coat, and alox through it since it's been returned to me. I got the new larger diameter interface (because they have a piston in 5/8x24 now as well), and I got the forward module (aluminum tube) upgraded to titanium.

It was an expensive upgrade, but at least I didn't have to wait on a another stamp and I basically have an all-new, far more useful suppressor.
