As the title states Woodleigh bullets for a 450/400.
Details: .408 diameter, 400 grain, Weldcore RN SN, W40-A.
A buddy has booked a Cape buffalo hunt for next May. One of the potential rifle's a Watson Bros. double in 450/400. Previous owner said he had slugged the barrel and it came back as .408 diameter.
Buddy has a SMALL quantity of the above bullets, not enough to develop a load, practice AND whack the buffalo. He's looking for what ever he can get his hands on for load development.
He's also interested in what currently is as common as chicken lips, the Hornady DGX bullets in .458. The backup rifle is a Rigby in 450-3-1/4.
Woodleigh had a fire recently and it will be a fair while before they are back in production. So hunt is on for old stock stuff.
In reality any hunting bullet that would be suitable on the above rifles would of interest.
Whatcha got?
Greenbacks? Trade stuff? Got lot's of trade stuff.
Fresh out of live chickens though.
Let me know. Although a unicorn may be easier
