    If the quality would be the same as the originals and the price was right, I would take a .250 and a .358.

    It must be of the same quality as the originals and I want the Savage cartridge chamberings like .250 Savage and .300 Savage.

    I’ve never been enamored of the 99’s although I’ve got one in TD 303 Savage, again price and availability would both be issues, especially availability as I’ve been waiting almost a year for a Ruger made Marlin…yup, Marlin and Winchester 1886 repros I just love but I’ve got a couple of buds that would give their eye teeth for another 99.

    Scale it down a bit and chamber it in .223 with a rotary 8 shot magazine and 20" barrel.
    Or neck up the .300 to .35- voila- .350 Savage!
