    Savage 16 extractor issues?

Can replacing the extractor on a model 16 bolt rifle affect it's accuracy?

Maybe. If the new extractor puts more pressure on the case, holding in a different position, it may be possible.

Be kind of interesting to test: old extractor, no extractor, and new extractor.

If it wasn't such a problem to do that because of my neuropathy, I would do just that. But it took me several trys with my fumble fingers to get the extractor ball ans spring down far enuf so that I could slide the extractor into place I don't wanna do that!
