    Red or Green Fiber Optic?

    686-6 6"
Which seems to be better for the front?
Leaning toward green, I think it is suppose to be better for astigmatism.
    What brand?

I find red stands out on backgrounds better.

    But my preference is orange.

As noted above,, let YOUR eyes pick the best color.

I've had good luck with Hi-Viz & the fact they offer "lite-pipes" in both colors makes it easy to find out which color works best for you.

Actually, for me it's orange. Too many years of shooting an orange ramp front sight and my eyes simply pick up orange better than any other color.

Green for me, but I'd take red or orange as well, had I no choice. I see the green better, but I find these fiber optic sights add about 20 minutes of usable daylight to my hunting experience.

    Green for me.

Even on compound bow sights, I could pick up green better in low/dim light when hunting.

I pick up the green faster .
I mounted a Hi-Viz front on a shotgun and it came with an assortment of lite-pipes in different colors ...green , red & orange ... I shot skeet , targets and hunted with each color and for me the green was the stand out . Just get an assortment pack and try them all ...

I’m surprised green can work for hunting. I’ve only had a red one on a shotgun.
