I have one of those… older and uglier. Not sure exactly where I got it. Too large to cast with, too small for efficient ingot making. An interesting design. I may find something to use it for some day.

I think that it may have been made for plumbers when the poured lead in cast iron joints in houses.
Is it my imagination or is that divider a utility knife blade with the edge ground off?
