$5 per primer is awfully steep.

Where do you get $5 per primer? It shows 5K primers for $500 at the link.

Yes, I'm using them for full-power loads in just about all of my LR-primed center-fires. These are NATO mil-spec and, I've been told, are what PRIVI uses in their factory loads. Bought two 5K cartons about 5 years ago and still have 3K+ on the shelf. Only difference is that I paid $119/5K carton+shipping & hazmat from Graf's back then.

Didn’t see the 5,000 at top. Much better for price for 5,000 than 100

I am using them. The only problem I have encountered is if you punch a primer out of a case ,to reuse it, they tend to lose the anvil. I put the anvil back in an use the primer with no problem. To be honest other primers may do that and I never noticed when they were a penny each!!!

This is where I got them. They get $425.00/5000 shipped with hazmat. That is about .085 per primer. What fun times we live in today.

What else matters is as long as some keep paying those scalper prices the longer those prices will stay that high or go higher.

I have been using them in small pistol primer. Where I am, tough to get anything, so I takes what I can gets.

I find them to be very tight. I swage the pocket, and sometimes still have to cut a little bit.
But I will say, I’m in my second set of 1000, and I have not had a single dud.

I don't think we can call them scalpers prices. CCI is showing msrp on spp at $90/K. It is just our brave new world.

I’ve used their LP and SPM versions. Still have plenty. Both do what they’re made to do.
I think they were less than $26.00 / thousand when I bought them.
    Should have bought more.
