    making hollow point bullets with modified top punch

    I make hollow points by adapter in the top punch to hold tips from a thompson/center MAXI SHOK they are sharp tips that screw onto a ram rod. It works great you have adjust the bottom to stop the bullet so you can get some more pressure on the tip.

    Doable but the HP cavity won't be deep and the nose shows distortion (spreads). I've done it for light, shot bullets in the .380. Expands all right. In actuality, it's swaging./beagle
