    small caliber range day

I brought three guns to the range - Colt New Police 32/Police Positive, a Belgian Melior .32acp, and a 1910 Mauser .25acp. I load for each (even the .25), but I used factory ammo in the Melior and Mauser, and reloads in the Colt. Each gun shot with no problems at all. I fired the Melior .32 once without ear protection, to see how loud it is. Yep, it's loud. Great guns. The unique Melior is slim and light, making it tempting to carry, but...
The Colt is marked Colt New Police 32 on the left side of the barrel, and Police Positive on the right.
I have a 1914 Mauser .32acp but the .25 is in much better shape.
    Gotta love those small guns.

Those small caliber guns are a hoot, aren't they?

The prices on factory ammo is climbing rapidly these crazy days. I expect it'll be a long, long time before we see much more of it. Good calibers to load for.
    Cogito, ergo armatum sum.

    (I think, therefore I'm armed.)
