    click adjustable lock ring

    looking at Whidden gunworks website. they make a click adjustable lockring. $50.00 + dollars. what does it do?? never heard of this before.

    There is a video on the site that explains it very well. It gives detent adjustment to your die depth similar to the detent adjustment on scope turrets.

    At $50 I think I will stick with the old way.

    Click adjutment die rings ... at 50+ dollars ... I haven't needed them in the last 50+ years ...

    Like all of John's products it's marketed at the advanced shooter/reloader/competitor. If you're not monitoring your shoulder setback it's not for you. If you are maintaining a specific shoulder bump on multiple chambers it is a very good product.

    Each click is metered in true 1 thousandths adjustment and has .100’’ total available travel. Those loading for two rifles with different headspace can easily optimize the shoulder bump for each rifle.
