Making round balls for shooting fun!

Man its nice when then temperature cools off and you can get back to casting. Had a good weekend casting .380 and .490 round balls for newly kit built muzzle loader and 1851 Navy percussion revolver. When everything comes together it reminds me of why I started casting in the first place. Saving money, stress relief and the passion for doing things for yourself! Now if percussion caps will show up, I will be a happy man. The flintlock will do fine with the round balls, but that 1851 Navy needs caps Cast on brothers and enjoy muzzle loaders and black powder shooting forever.

If you are casting round balls but need primers.
Just look into making your own primers.
    And if you want,
    Make your own Black Powder.
That is the nice thing about shooting BP.
Most items are basic , and you can make stuff you need , when you need it.
And things can be made without buying a bunch of tools
