Bought some cast 500 grain and 405 grain Hi Tek-coated .45-70 bullets from Acme Bullet Company.

The order arrived quickly via UPS.
They actually deliver their bullets in laser cut, 1/4" plywood boxes, with the caliber and number impressed into the wood.

My problem now is what to do with these excellent boxes when the bullets are gone. Can't throw them away. Too nice.

You could drill holes in the top and use it for a loading block… counted number of rounds so you can keep up with number fired at each target. It looks like you could nicely space out about twenty rounds or so.

My buddy sent me a box of
500 red .401 and a box of green 9mm! Tried the .401 in my 10mm glock with 5.8 grains of green dot..cycles perfectly and drops the cases at my feet to about 4' out. He didn't want shoot cast. Said I would be more than happy to grab them up. I was more excited about the boxes than the boolits.
I was surprised myself at how nice they were, not fall apart like usual giveaway things. I repurposed them for collector ammo I have.
