    Pretty darn good results

This is a test load I知 working on for my boys 30-30. 9 grains of IMR PB. I like it so much I知 thinking about trying it in my 308 Winchester. Is anyone else using this 130 grain from M&M痴 molds 311-410. Accuracy and bullet expansion are awesome. Straight water dropped wheel weights. Click image for larger version.

Good for you and your son. That all part of the fun, putting these loads together. I'm not using your boolit but in the 35 caliber have loaded NOE cast with GC's and PC that print at 100 yard what your target is showing, approximately 2"x2.5" groups for 5 shots. I see your first shot is high, too. Mine do the same out of a clean, cold barrel, then they settle down toward the POI. Keep us posted on the results from the 308, as well.

Should take care of your corn crunchers down that way.

I loaded these in 308 with pitiful results. Mine are plain base though.

Loaded them mild and warm and both were bad. I知 holding out for the 30-30 though.

My 30/30 loves that mold at about 1450 fps. My 308's, not so much. The 30/30 also liked those boolits at the leisurely velocity of about 1100 but the higher velocity is more versatile. My powder of choice is Red Dot so the muzzle blast is negligible making it excellent for varmints in a more populated area and, of course, there is almost no recoil. With the iron sights, it keeps the gong music playing at 200 yards.

That red dot is a great powder
