    300 Blackout

What barrel brand and what lengths are you guys running with good success? I'd like a 10.5 barrel but can't decide on which brand.

Just ordered the only MP 311-410 HP mold I could find. Paid $175 shipped for it (ouch) but it's better than not having one at all I figured.

It seems that mold is hit and miss with some guys. I just got the other one.. 312159 HP has some feeding issues, but am working on it. I have high success ( most do ) with that Lee 312-155… I’m hearing the 312-160 too.

Mine is KAK, works fine. 1:8 twist and threaded. IIRC it was a value line on sale, nothing special. I don't shoot subs so anything shorter you lose a lot of fps. Noticed they are out of stock.
    Whatever!

Mine is a 16 inch, carbine gas system, 1 in 8 twist, made by Trybe Defense, sold at Optics Planet for less than $100.

I have only shot jacketed bullets in it. It works great with subs or supers, but it is a 1.5MOA barrel at best with the loads I have used.

I was just looking for a bargain when I bought it.

I started with a 16" Odin Works barrel. Switch to a 10.5" when I went suppressed. Both barrels were 1 MOA with a 125gr Spitzer. I am still trying to achieve that with my cast.
Odin Works barrels are a bit pricey but come with an adjustable gas block.

I'm slowly getting ready to do a 300 BLK build myself. I was thinking of going with something around 8" long, probably from Ballistic Advantage.

I have a NOE 311-206-RN plain base mold on the way.

We have two 16" 300 blacks in the household. Both are Palmetto uppers. Both are dedicated to the Lee twins (powder coated 312-155 and 312-160s). Cheaper to load and shoot than 5.56.
