    Winchester Model 68

Not trying to toot my own horn but I found a dandy for a dandy price this weekend at the Steam and Gas show up here. Never would've thought looking at old tractors I find a gun.Click image for larger version.

Mirror bore, factory peep, and 250 pack of Winchester ammo, all for under $200.
Took it home, cleaned it, shot at 40 yds. It's a shooter for sure.

Not a bad price for these days at all.

I have shot several Model 67 and 67A rifles, even one of the relatively rare 20" versions; but never a Model 68.

Nice piece of walnut. I love .22 rf from that era: blued steel & walnut.

    I have a 67: my 1st. .22.
