    500 Rounds using Argentina Primers

I have now shot 500 rounds with Argentina primers with no problems. I have found that they are kinda like S&B primers.

What are these "argentina" primers you speak of ...................are they somewhat less costly then the current supplies?

I got them here https://zincpoint.com/ammo-component...imers-2000-ct/. Even with hazmat and shipping they come out cheaper if you buy more than just 1000. I have bought over 5000. Right now they only have small pistol, but I talked to the folks and they should be getting large pistol at the beginning of September.

    Thanks or the report.

I have been watching this source.

In general I like the idea of supporting US makers.

However, in this case, a very few US makers have apparently "cornered the market" and seem to be happy with production capabilities that are not meeting demand for this extended duration.

I would like to see the folks that import primers get into a position to where they can drastically increase capacity as needed when US makers are not meeting demand. This would help reduce the "windfall profitability" of the US makers that are part of the current problem.

Me thinks Zink is overdoing (read gouging their customers) on the Haz-Mat tax at $73 for 2000 primers and $146 for 4000!!!

Someone do kindly correct me if I error, however the current Haz-Mat fee's as being applied by most reputable reloading supply houses is running anywhere from $16 to $44 for up to a 48 pound package, for any combination of powders and primers.

    Kind regards,

When I ordered 5000 two weeks ago my Hazmat fee was $27. But who knows. UPS might have gone up as they have on everything else. Or maybe DSL won't ship them anymore?
